BeSeen - Add Link

Administrators

To add a link as administrator log in and click "add link".

  1. Select category
  2. Type in domain name
  3. Type in title and description. Tip: check "Populate title automatically" to get the title and description of the domain name entered automatically. This works only if the domain name has these two fields set.
  4. Type in email. This is the email of the person owning the domain name entered.
  5. Type in the URL of the page that is linking back to you. If you don't know the URL of the back link page, leave this field blank and check "Don't check back link". Back link field will be filled with the domain name entered.

Note: Back link field can not be empty. It either has to have the URL of the page that is linking back to you, or have same domain name as the website with "Don't check back link field checked.

Users

To exchange links with a website running BeSeen please follow these steps.

  1. Add a link to a website running BeSeen to a page on your website and make a note of the URL.
  2. Go to the website running BeSeen, navigate to BeSeen directory and and click on "add link"
  3. Select category
  4. Type in domain name
  5. Type in title and description of your website. Tip: check "Populate title automatically" to get the title and description of your domain name entered automatically. This works only if you have these two fields set on your website.
  6. Type in your email. Your email will be used to email you your BeSeen log in information so you can modify your link or add additional links to it.
  7. Type in the URL of the page that is linking to the owner of the BeSeen directory. Your link will be successfully added only if a back link URL comes from the same domain name as your website, and a link to BeSeen owner website exists on the specified back link URL.
